Rebirth Resoles

How long does it take to get my shoes resoled?

We normally return the shoes within seven days from the day we receive them. It is important that you contact us before sending your shoes so we know to expect them.

Can I replace the rand without replacing the sole as well?

No. The rand wraps around the upper and is then covered by the sole. It is necessary to remove the sole to get to the rand.

Can I just resole one shoe?

In the past I would have said no, however I have encountered many cases where this is a good option. Just consider whether it is likely that you’ll have to do the other shoe in the near future taking you off the rock for another week.

If there is a hole in the upper are my shoes a write off?

No. I can fix most holes using a kevlar cloth, however the bigger the hole and the longer they are used the more the upper is stretched from its original shape. These are emergency cases and should be sent in quickly.

Are there a limited number of times my shoes can be resoled?

Tricky question, most shoes can resoled two to three times depending on how the upper is holding up. If the shoe has a stiff upper and you sort them out early they can be done almost indefinitely.
